About Mary & Martha's Place

Our Story

Mary & Martha’s Place was founded in 1994 by a group of women fueled by a vision to bring the theology of the academy to a more public arena. Focused on teachings that expanded one's awareness of reality and of one's place in the world, their studies were grounded in Celtic spirituality and women's studies. From there, arose a community of people whose commitment to spiritual growth, integrity, and service still holds true today. We welcome you to join the circle.

What We Do

Mary & Martha’s Place creates opportunities for personal spiritual transformation and expanded consciousness in order to support the commitment to the common good.

We explore concepts of spiritual transformation and provide a place where people can learn to put these ideas into practice. In these times of change on many levels, MMP is a center that helps people stay grounded and spiritually attuned so that they can move and act with equanimity and wisdom.  We offer ongoing classes that provide depth and are conversational in nature, allowing participants time and space to digest what is presented. Our conferences, workshops and rituals are relevant, interactive, and focused on personal engagement.
