Stories that Bind, Stories that Liberate
February 27, 2010 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
@ 4393 Garmon Road, Atlanta, GA 30327
Located within St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church

Our stories are so much bigger than our own personal lives. What about the influence of history? The technological changes in our generation? The major political crises that occur? How do these things influence how we see ourselves, how we tell our stories? How do they limit or free us? How does our awakening help write a new Cosmic story?

Give yourself the space to muse on the layers of what these questions mean. Spend some time looking at your story in context of the influences—negative and positive—of our generation. Discover if your story is harming or healing you.

Spend the day with other seekers. We’ll find room to explore, space to share our concerns, areas to expand our perspectives.

Our guide will be Barbara Findeisen, M.A., M.F.T. Barbara will discuss how our culture is in the midst of a shift in consciousness that offers new opportunities for health individually and collectively. We are in the process of developing an alternative story that weaves personal and collective awareness into a just, inclusive and compassionate way of participating in our world.

"Thank you to Mary and Martha’s Place for bringing ritual back into my life."

"MMP is the living water. It is one of the border places. It has enabled me to claim my place in the body of Christ - a place much larger than I had previously experienced or imagined it to be. For this I am eternally grateful!"

"Thank you so much for providing this sharing sanctuary!! Many summer Solstices spent under the trees in the Beech Grove nourished my Celtic roots."
